Dial-Up Access Settings

  1. Click on the "Start" button. Select "My Computer."

  2. Select "Change a setting" from the list on the left.

  3. Select "Switch to a classic view" from the list on the left.

  4. Double click on the "Network Connections" icon.

  5. Select "Create a new connection" from the "Network Tasks" list on the left.

  6. The "New Connection Wizard" will begin. Click "Next."

  7. Select "Connect to the Internet."

  8. Click "Next."

  9. Select "Set up my connection manually."

  10. Click "Next."

  11. Select "Connect using a dial-up modem."

  12. Click "Next."

  13. In the "ISP Name" field type "MidOhio.Net"

  14. Click "Next."

  15. Enter your local dial-up access number.  Visit this link to locate your number.

    Click here to look up your local dial-up access number    .  Enter the following information:
        1. State
        2. City
        3. Area Code - Leave Blank
        4. Network - Select Network A
        5. Click on SEARCH
     
  16. Click "Next."

  17. Enter your "FULL Email Address"

  18. Enter your "Password."

  19. Re-enter your password in the "Confirm Password" field.

  20. Click "Next."

  21. Check the box beside "Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop."

  22. Click "Finish."

  23. A "Connect MidOhio.Net" window will open. Click on the "DIAL" button.
