Dial-Up Access Settings: Windows 9x
Configure Network
- Double click on

- Double click on

- Under the "Configuration" tab, look for a "Dial-Up Adapter" component listed. If you see one "Dial-Up Adapter" component listed, continue to step 6.
- If you see an additional "Dial-Up Adapter #2 (VPN Support)" component listed:
- Select the "Dial-Up Adapter #2 (VPN Support)" component
- Click on

- If you do not see a "Dial-Up Adapter" component listed:
- Click on
- Double click on "Adapter" from the component list.
- Select Microsoft from the "Manufacturers" list.
- Double click on "Dial-Up Adapter" from the "Network Adapters" list.

- Click "OK" twice.
- You will be asked to restart the computer. Click "Yes."
- Under the "Configuration" tab, look for a "TCP/IP Dial-Up Adapter" component listed. If you see one "TCP/IP Dial-Up Adapter" component listed, continue to step 9.
- If you see an additional "TCP/IPDial-Up Adapter #2 (VPN Support)" component listed:
- Select the "TCP/IP Dial-Up Adapter #2 (VPN Support)" component listed
- Click on

- If you do not see a "TCP/IP Dial-Up Adapter" component listed:
- Click on
- Double click on "Protocol" from the component list.
- Select Microsoft from the "Manufacturers" list.
- Double click on "TCP/IP" from the "Network Protocols" list.

- Click "OK" twice.
- You will be asked to restart the computer. Click "Yes."
- Under the "Configuration" tab, double click on the "TCP/IP Dial-Up Adapter" component. If a "TCP/IP Properties Information" message opens, click "OK."
- Select the "IP Address" tab.
- "Obtain an IP address automatically" should be marked.
- Select the "DNS Configuration" tab.
- "Enable DNS" should be marked.
- In the "Host" field type "your
FULL Email Address".
- In the "Domain" field type "midohio.net"
- Select the "WINS Configuration" tab.
- "Disable WINS Resolution" should be marked.

- Click "OK" twice.
- You will be asked to restart the computer. Click "Yes."
