Dial-Up Access Settings: Windows 9x

  1. Double click on

  2. Double click on: (If you do not see this icon, Click Here).

  3. If this is the first time you have opened "Dial-Up Networking," the "Make New Connection" wizard will automatically begin. If this is not the first time you have opened "Dial-Up

    Networking," double click on

  4. Overtype "My Connection" with "MidOhio.Net"
  5. Click "Next."

  6. Enter your local dial-up access number.  Visit this link to locate your number.

    Click here to look up your local dial-up access number    .  Enter the following information:
        1. State
        2. City
        3. Area Code - Leave Blank
        4. Network - Select Network A
        5. Click on SEARCH
     

  7. Click "Next."

  8. Click "Finish."

  9. Right click on and select

    If a shortcut message opens, click "Yes."

  10. Right click on again and select

  11. Select the "Server Types" tab.
  12. Uncheck the box beside "Log on to network."
  13. Uncheck the boxes beside "NetBEUI" and "IPX/SPX Compatible". "TCP/IP" should be checked.
  14. Click on the "TCP/IP Settings" button.

  15. "Server assigned IP address" should be marked.
  16. "Server assigned name server addresses"
    17. should be marked.

  17. Click "OK" twice.
  18. Double click on and enter your username (FULL Email ADRESS) and password (case sensitive).

  19. Click "Connect." (If you are unable to connect, Click Here).
