Email Settings: Netscape 6.x Mail

  1. Double click on If you do not see this icon on your desktop:

    1. Click on
    2. Select "Programs"
    3. Select "Netscape 6.2"
    4. Select "Mail"

  2. Click on the "Edit" menu.
  3. Select the "Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings" option.

  4. Click on

  5. An "Account Wizard" will open. Mark "ISP or email provider."
  6. Click "Next."

  7. Enter Your Name and Email Address.
  8. Click "Next."

  9. Under "Incoming Server," mark "POP".
  10. Type mail.midohio.net in the "Server Name" field.

  11. Under "Outgoing Server (SMTP)," type mail.midohio.net in the "Server Name" field.

  12. Click "Next" twice.

  13. Type MidOhio.Net in the "Account Name" field.
  14. Click "Next."

  15. Click "Finish."

  16. Click "OK."

  17. Select "MidOhio.Net" on the left sidebar
  18. Click on and connect to the Internet to check for new messages.
